Consignment Policy
The following terms and conditions constitute the complete policy of consignment with Luster & Oak
Local Consignors
You must schedule an appointment or notify us in advance if you intend to pick up money.
Traveling Consignors
If you are located out of the city and unable to pick up money in person you can request money via e-Transfer or PayPal. However, you should have accumulated at least 50 dollars in sales before requesting a transfer. Please note that there is a 5 dollar fee for e-Transfer and Paypal transactions and it can take between 1 to 3 business days to send. Please contact us to request an e-Transfer or Paypal payment.
Length of Consignment
It is the consignor’s responsibility to ensure that any unpaid accounts are collected before one year has passed since the start date of consignment.
Luster & Oak will normally continue to offer the items for sale until 60 days have passed the day of consignment at which time the consigned items become sole property of Luster & Oak.
The consignor forfeits any claim of ownership to consigned items after 60 days has passed if they have not personally collected the item from Luster & Oak by that time.
Theft and Liability
While we will do our best to safeguard your items, Luster & Oak assumes no liability for stolen or damaged item(s).
Damaged Articles
The consignor agrees to let us donate any items found to be stained/damaged or otherwise unsellable.
Returning Items
You may at any item request to have your items returned. However, we may require notice be given to provide us with time to find the item.
Items requested to be returned before 45 days have passed from the start date of the consignment are subject to a 5 dollar withdrawal fee.
