Consignment Policy

The following terms and conditions constitute the complete policy of consignment with Luster & Oak

Local Consignors

We ask that you book an appointment to pick up your funds

Traveling Consignors

If you are located out of the city and unable to pick up money in person you may request your payout via E-transfer. This being said we ask that you wait till 60$ or the total has accumulated in your account before you request your E-transfer. Please note that there is a 1.50$ fee for E-Transfers. It may take up to 7 days for an E-transfer to be sent out. Please send an email or book an appointment to request an E-transfers. 

Length of Consignment

 

It is the consignor’s responsibility to ensure that any unpaid accounts are collected before one year has passed since the start date of the consignment.

After 60 days of consignment, the item(s) is subject to be donated if it has not been sold. This being said, we will still try to sell the item if we believe it will sell even after the 60 days have passed. It is the responsibility of the consignor to claim the item, please note we will not contact the consignor prior to this date and it is the sole responsibility of the consignor. 

Theft and Liability

While we will do our best to safeguard your items, Luster & Oak assumes no liability for stolen or damaged item(s).

Damaged Articles

The consignor agrees to let us donate any items found to be stained/damaged or otherwise unsellable.

Returning Items

 

 

 

You may at any given time during the 60-day period of consignment request to have your items returned. However, we do ask you to give us notice to provide us with time to find the item(s). 

Item(s) requested to be returned before 30 days have passed from the start date of the consignment are subject to a 5$ withdrawal fee.
